May I welcome you to the website of the Southern Diocese of the Free Church of England.  Please feel free to browse the site and also contact me if you need any futher information or publications.

The Diocese has maintained its witness over many years and has also bucked the tide of declining memberships.  In fact, the Diocese has grown by more than 13% over the last four years.

The Diocese invites you to attend any of our churches, where you will find a warm welcome awaits you.  If there isn't a church near you then a simple application form can enrol you as a scattered member of the Diocese, with the benefit of being invited to our annual conference held at Sunbury Court Conference Centre as well as an annual Year Book.  In the first year you will also receive a Free Church of England Prayer Book.  The membership costs just £30 per year.  Alternatively, If there isn't a church near you, are you interested in starting one?  Help, advice and back-up is available, simply contact me for more information and assistance.

The Free Church of England is proudly Evangelical, Episcopal and Liturgical.  We have an open table policy at Holy Communion: our fellow Christians of other branches of Christ's Church, and all who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity, are affectionately invited to the Lord's Table.

The Diocese seeks to make friends of those who are dissatisfied with the present established church.  You will find the Free Church of England to be like what the Church of England of the past used to be.  All of our congregations are friendly and welcoming.
