We now pray for our new king, King Charles III, that he will be guided by your hands. Grant him in health and wealth, long to live; strengthen him; that he may vanquish and overcome all his enemies; and finally, after this life, he may attain everlasting joy and happiness.
Forgive us, Lord, for when we don't thank you enough, for who you are, for all that you do, for all that you've given. Help us to set our eyes and our hearts on you afresh in this, our time of mourning. Renew our spirits, fill us with your peace and joy. We love you, Lord, and we need you, this day and every day. We give you praise and thanks, for You alone are worthy!
In Jesus' Name, Amen.
